As a private entity, ITECH Lyon is an institution created and supported by the professional federations and their member companies. The Master of Engineering in Applied Chemistry is recognized and accredited by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI) at a national level and by EUR-ACE at an European level.
ITECH Lyon trains engineers in the field of polymers and their applications, in particular in plastic materials, textiles, composites, formulation chemistry (paints, inks, adhesives and cosmetics) as well as in leather technology.
The Master of Engineering in Applied Chemistry is available in French or in English. The English-taught program is available from the 2nd year of the 3-year engineering program. Hence, students wishing to follow the English-taught program must have completed 4 years (or more) of university studies in Chemistry.

Students interested in applying for admission to the Master of Engineering in Applied Chemistry must begin their application, upload the required documents, and submit it via our online platform.
Once your application is submitted and deemed admissible, the admissions team will contact you to schedule an online interview (in English or French, depending on the program).
After the interview, your application and interview results will be reviewed by the admissions committee. If accepted, you can proceed with enrollment.

Yes, if you have completed at least 4 years of university-level studies in Chemistry (or a related field), you can apply directly to the 2nd year of the engineering program.
Tuition fees for the Master of Engineering in Applied Chemisry are €8,300* per year.

Each application file must contain a CV*, a cover letter*, your academic transcripts*, and your university diploma*/enrollment certificate*. Additional documents, such as language proficiency certificates and recommendation letters, are welcome but not mandatory.

While welcome, an official language proficiency test is not required. Your language skills will be assessed during the admission interview, conducted in the program’s teaching language.
