The Rhône-Alpes Region

”The Rhône-Alpes Region has supported the ITECH® Challenge over a number of years. This backing forms part of the region’s active policy to provide support for the textile industry through its industry-specific economic contracts. As such, the Region invested 3 M€ in the new ‘textiles’ economic contract between 2007 and 2009: the strategic objectives of this scheme include the technological innovation and development of technical textiles in the Rhône-Alpes region, to which the ITECH® Challenge contributes".

"Developing industrial innovation by supporting research, engineering schools and companies is one of the main objectives of the Lyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry. At the heart of innovation support networks, its teams, in particular CCInnovation, provide personalised support".

Première Vision

"The aim of the Première Vision association, whose partners are the 5 major textile federations, is to promote the French textile industry. As such, a wide range of measures are taken every year to help our textile industrialists who are members of these Federations.

Though the best known of these forms of aid is the promotion of participation at trade shows in France (Première Vision) and abroad, support for Creation and Innovation in the textile industry is a significant driving force for our companies, which justifies the grant we have awarded to the ITECH Challenge®".

Grand Lyon
