How it works

The ITECH Challenges® propose innovative subjects – chosen by industry – to multidisciplinary teams of students, who enter an annual innovation competition.

The ITECH Challenges® are overseen by a Scientific Committee and coordinated by technical and scientific experts, specialists from the world of industry, academia and the institutional community.

Industrialists put forward study subjects that are tackled by higher education students, working most often in teams whilst on placements (of between 4 and 6 months).

The organisers put together the research teams according to the skills needed on each project. At the prize-giving, the best studies are rewarded (more than 20,000 € in prizes).
